Fire the Successful Financial Planner and Hire the Poor Performer?

If we truly believe in Regression to the Mean then we probably should be firing that successful money manager and hiring the guy who has consistently been a poor performer. That approach would predict the fall of one and the rise of the other – both meeting in the middle.
