Week in Review for June 30, 2017

Lot’s to cover in this week in review;

  • What happens when your debts get bigger than your reserves and the pothole fixers or people who supply coffee and doughnuts to government employees all want to get paid? We are about to find out in Illinois, Connecticut, and Maine.
  • The development of the perfect storm as all problems are solved, by buying index funds and ETF’s, that is until you hit the sell button and the question is asked: “to whom?”
  • Sometimes you just can’t ignore the fundamentals of SUPPLY and DEMAND. In this instance drought means paying a lot more for that pizza and bagel.
